ReflexPlumbing and Gas

Bathroom, kitchen and laundry plumbing

Renovation plumbing lives or dies on sequencing. The rough-in has to be right before the waterproofer and tiler arrive, because everything after that point is expensive to move.

We work to the builder's or the owner's program, turn up when the wall is actually open, and set out fixtures where they were drawn rather than where the pipe happens to be.

What we handle

  • Bathroom and ensuite rough-in and fit-off
  • Kitchen and laundry relocations
  • Fixture and tapware set-out
  • Floor wastes, falls and shower drainage
  • Gas points for new cooktops and outdoor kitchens
  • Extensions and additional bathrooms

Worth knowing

Book the rough-in early

The rough-in date is the one that moves everyone else's dates. It is the first call to make, not the last.

Common questions

Do you work with builders or only direct with owners?

Both. Owner-builders in particular tend to need more of the sequencing conversation, and that is fine.

When do I need to have chosen my tapware?

Before rough-in. Different mixers and wall outlets need different set-outs, and choosing after the wall is closed means opening it again.
