Reflex Plumbing and Gas Pty Ltd (ABN 54 694 025 477) is a plumbing and gas fitting business based in Rossmoyne, WA. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it, and who it is shared with.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the quote form we receive your name, phone number, and anything else you choose to give us — your email address, suburb, the type of job and your message. When you call, text or email us, we receive your number or address and what you tell us.
With an enquiry we also record how you found the site — for example, whether you came from a Google or Facebook ad, a search, or our Google Business Profile — and the page you first landed on. Your browser keeps a small note of this for up to 90 days so that an enquiry made on a later visit is still matched to how you first found us.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, quote and book the work, carry it out, invoice for it and follow up afterwards. We also use it to understand which of our advertising brings enquiries, so we spend less on what does not work. We do not sell your information.
Measurement and advertising
This website uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies from the following providers to measure how the site is used and how well our ads perform, and to show our ads to people who may need a plumber:
- Google — Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager. When you send an enquiry after clicking a Google ad, your email address and phone number are scrambled (hashed) on your device before being sent to Google so it can match the enquiry to the ad.
- Meta — the Meta Pixel, which tells Facebook and Instagram when someone visits the site, taps our phone number or sends an enquiry. Meta uses this to measure and show our ads, and may combine it with information it already holds about you under its own policies.
- Microsoft Clarity — records how visitors scroll and click, so we can see where the site is hard to use.
Each of these companies may use the information as their own privacy policies describe. You can control ads you see from Meta in your Facebook or Instagram Ad preferences, and from Google at adssettings.google.com. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser, or use an ad blocker; the website and the quote form still work without them.
Where it is kept, and who sees it
Enquiries are delivered to us by email and kept in a secure online system run on our behalf by our website provider, TradiePlus, which also manages our advertising. Beyond that, we share your details only with people we need to in order to do the job — for example a supplier, or a regulator where the law requires it. Some of the services above store data outside Australia.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@reflexplumbingandgas.com or calling 0426 762 519. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
